The stage is set for Ghana’s biggest highlife party, the Joy FM High-Life Dance Party.
The event, which comes off Friday, 3rd December 2010 at the Poolside of Alisa Hotel, has attracted hundreds of patrons to the premises of Joy FM to pick up their reserved invitations.
The High-Life Dance Party will feature most of Ghana’s foremost highlife musicians such as Pat Thomas, Ben Brako, Kofi Nti, Dr Paa Bobo and KK Fosu.
The already sold-out event will bring together adults from all walks of life to put to test those dancing steps they had so many years ago.
Legendary Highlife musician Dr. Paa Bobo of “Osobrokyiε” fame has assured patrons of a rare, spectacular performance at the Joy FM “High-Life Dance Party” on Friday night.
Dr. Paa Bobo, whose all-time hit track “Osobrokyiε” has been widely considered by high-life connoisseurs as the best love song of the last three decades (arguably), told Joy FM’s Super Morning Show that he has over 20 high-life Albums to his credit, adding that he wrote more than 40 songs for some of the most celebrated high-life musicians since the early 1970’s.
The Joy High-Life Dance is being organized in conjunction with Ghana High-Life Festival (managed by renowned music producer Mark Okraku Mantey).
