Veteran goalkeeper Ali Jarrah is leading calls for Richard Kingston and Sammy Adjei to return to the Black Stars team as back up for first choice Adam Kwarasey.
Adam Kwarasey has not conceded in the ongoing African cup of Nations after two games but his performances have raised doubts about the team’s chances.
In an interview on the JOY Sports Africa cup of Nations diary, Ali Jarrah stated that, the return of experienced Richard Kingston and Sammy Adjei will help the Adam Kwarasey improve.
“I am saying it is good for Richard Kinston and Sammy Adjei to come back to the team for Kwarasey can learn from them”. Said Jarrah
“Once a while you chip in the young ones to learn from the senior ones so if the experienced once fade out they can take over with greater maturity”.
Ali Jarrah had a brief but memorable career with Hearts of Oak and the national team.
