Embattled showbiz icon Kwasi Kyei Darkwah says he is safe and sound, despite his arrest and denial of bail Tuesday over an alleged rape scandal.
In a message posted on his Facebook page after being denied bail, KKD thanked everybody for their comments, adding that he is “grateful and humbled.”
He further added however that “Dance. Just don’t dance on what you think is my grave. God is not done yet.”
Below is what he posted:
"Safe and sound. Alive and well.
"Thanks for all the comments, the good, the bad and the ugly. I am grateful and humbled.
'"Embracing my blessings every waking moment.
Cherishing all the good things that are surely God sent.
"Dance. Just don't dance on what you think is my grave. God is not done yet."
KKD was arrested by the Airport Police at the African Regency Hotel in Accra last Saturday after a lady had lodged a complaint of sexual assault against him, which he has denied.
He has been charged with rape and had his plea not taken.
In court on Tuesday December 30, 2014, the CEO of Finest Productions and an ace emcee was denied bail by the Kaneshie Magistrate's Court.
He is expected back in court on January 8, 2015.
