The Klefe Waterfall is being developed into a tourist attraction site as part of plans to facilitate development and job opportunities in the community.
Mr Ransford Kasu, Assembly member for the Area, said this at the inauguration of the Klefe Unit Committee on Sunday.
He said the three communities making up the Klefe Traditional Area: Atsiatime, Dome and Demete, have rich tourism potentials which would be developed to benefit the locality.
He advised the inhabitants to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to guarantee them access to “quality healthcare”.
The Reverend Mawuli Komla Dzah, Chaplain of Mawuli School at Ho, in sermon advised the members of the electoral area to unite and support the Assemblyman and the Committee to help develop the area.
Mr Winfred Gatse, a member of the committee, thanked the people on behalf of his colleagues and pledged their resolve to discharge their duties effectively.
The oath of office was administered by the Very Rev. Japheth Yao Ledo, a former Moderator of Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church.
