JoyNews held a special edition of its National Dialogue series on the theme “Investment in Newborn Health: Giving Preterm Babies a Strong Start.”
The programme brought together leading health experts, advocates, and practitioners from across West Africa to examine the challenges facing preterm babies and explore effective strategies for improving newborn care.
The dialogue aimed to raise awareness, promote policy action, and highlight the critical need for sustained investment in neonatal health systems to ensure every newborn, especially those born too soon, has the best chance at survival and healthy development.
