Unionized Workers of Merchant Bank have threatened an industrial action against management of Merchant bank.
This is in response to management’s dismissal of the local Union Chairman over allegations that he divulged confidential information.

General Secretary Kofi Davor tells JoyBusinesss they would determine their next line of action after a scheduled meeting with the Labour Commission.
“The gentleman spoke in his rightful capacity as a shareholder and a rep[resntative of the union and so management cannot criminalize his action” Nothing short of a reinstatement would appease us. he noted.
