The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public against a recruitment notice circulating on social media, describing the letter as fake and unauthorised.
In a statement issued on Friday, January 23, 2026, the Service said it had sighted a document purportedly issued by GES, claiming that recruitment into the Service had commenced.
Management, however, stressed that no such recruitment exercise has begun.
According to the statement, the letter in circulation did not originate from the Ghana Education Service and should therefore be disregarded.
GES explained that when recruitment officially begins, an announcement will be made exclusively through its recognised and official communication platforms.
The Service urged job seekers and the general public to rely only on verified GES channels for accurate information.
“The public is therefore advised to treat as false any recruitment announcement that does not emanate from the official platforms of the Ghana Education Service,” the statement said.
The statement reiterated the Service’s commitment to transparent and credible recruitment processes and appealed to the public to remain vigilant against misinformation.
