President John Mills has announced a deputy ministerial reshuffle, Tuesday.
The Deputy Minister for Eastern Region Baba Jamal has been moved to the Information Ministry to replace James Agyenim-Boateng who moves to the Tourism Ministry.
The Deputy Trade Minister Mahama Ayariga will replace Dr J.S. Annan as the Deputy Education Minister while Mr Acquinas Quansah has been appointed the Deputy Minister-designate for the Local Government Ministry.
The current Deputy Tourism Minister, Kobby Acheampong has been moved to the Ministry of Interior and Mr Ernest Attuquaye Armah has been appointed the Deputy Communications Minister-designate.
Mr Ebernezer Okletey Terlabi and Ms Emelia Arthur have also been appointed as Deputy Ministers for the Eastern and Western Regions respectively.
The president also appointed five persons as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives. They are: Mr Apraku Lartey; Tano North, Atta Bosompem; Asunafo South, Solomon Agyei-mensah; Sekyere East, Sekyere Afram Plains – Samuel Asiamah and Kwaebibirim; Reginald Asamoah Osae.
