Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur on Tuesday started work from the Osu Castle on his first full day in his new role. He was present at the Castle at approximately 9:50 am.
The new Vice President participated in a cabinet meeting which was his first opportunity to officially meet its members in one session.
He told presidential press corps there is “no special feeling” on his first day at work as Vice-President.
Before he got down to work however Joy News Presidential Correspondent Seth Kwame Boateng managed to squeeze out of him his first public comments as Vice President on day one at post.
He managed a few words when the anxious Boateng approached him to find out how he felt on his first day in office.
“That will be done later,” he said.
The Castle will now be his new office after he was sworn-in as vice-president following a thorough vetting, Monday.
