The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayifah Karbo has stated that the party can never admit its fold the embattled National Youth Organizer of the Convention People’s Party, Kwabena Bonfeh, a.k.a Kabila.
He says though politics thrives on numbers, Kabila is not a character the NPP can tolerate at all.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Programme on Monday, Anthony Karbo indicated that Kwabena Bonfeh is buried in the lost ideologies of Ghana’s first president Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
The NPP, he says, is in tune with modern-day politics, very dynamic in respect of socio-economic development and therefore can never accept Kabila.
Asked if he is not by claims driving away other Nkrumahists who intend to join the NPP, Mr. Karbo said he is not implying that all Nkrunahists are like Kabila. He said the NPP even worked with some CPP cronies who shared the vision of the 'elephant party'.
He explained that anytime Mr. Bonfeh speaks on radio, all he talks about is Nkrumah's ideologies - without reflecting on current happenings and technological advances.
According to the NPP Youth Organizer, Dr. Nkrumah’s ideologies are dead and outmoded since most of his legacies have either been improved upon or collapsed by successive governments.
