The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, is confident about the party's future, citing the recent victories of young candidates in parliamentary primaries for orphan constituencies.
In an interview on Movement TV, Mr Mustapha expressed optimism and underscored the vital role of youth in fortifying the party's strength, advocating for continued opportunities for their growth in public service.
Drawing from his journey, Mr Mustapha, who has dedicated 20 years to the NPP before assuming his current position, highlighted the power of unwavering commitment.
“My love for the party kept me going," he asserted, emphasising his enduring dedication to the NPP cause.
While acknowledging that prioritising young candidates wasn't a formal strategy, Mr Mustapha commended the quality and dedication of young party members.
He contended that their electoral success is indicative of the party's recognition of their valuable contributions.
Furthermore, youth organiser expressed confidence in the youth wing under his leadership, asserting their commitment to ensuring that the NPP's flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, emerges victorious against the NDC's John Mahama in the upcoming 2024 polls.
