Swedru SHS has made it to the one-eighth stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz with 51 points after beating Edinaman SHS and Winneba SHS.
Edinaman SHS scored 23 points with Winneba SHS following with 17 points.
Swedru Senior High School would join Mfantsipim Senior High School, Assin State College and other schools to battle it out for the esteemed NSMQ championship.

Swedru SHS booked its spot at the one-stage in the 3rd contest of the Central Region preliminary contest.
The preliminary stage has proceeded with keen competition as the road to the one-eighth stage gets closer. Some zonal champions have maintained their positions while others have had to hand over the baton to new champions. With the Greater Accra, Central, Western and Northern Regions covered, the prelims continue with the Ashanti and other regions next week.
