The National Service Scheme (NSS) has issued PIN Codes for 133,476 final-year Ghanaian students across all accredited universities nationwide, marking the commencement of registration for the 2024/2025 service year.
This includes students who have completed their studies overseas, defaulters, and private applicants required to undertake national service.
NSS management in a press statement released on Wednesday, June 19 urged eligible applicants to visit the scheme’s official website, www.nss.gov.gh.

They can access their PIN Codes by entering their school index numbers and dates of birth. This step is essential for initiating the registration process.
The registration period began concurrently with the release of PIN Codes and will run until Friday, July 19, 2024.
NSS advises applicants to complete their registration meticulously to avoid any errors that could potentially affect their deployment for national service duties.
To activate their enrollment, applicants are required to make a payment of GH¢40. This can be done either at any branch of ADB Bank or via the MTN MoMo platform, where the fee is GH¢41.
The NSS management statement emphasised the importance of timely and accurate registration, as it ensures a smooth and efficient deployment exercise.
It urged students and other eligible applicants to adhere strictly to the outlined procedures and deadlines to facilitate their participation in the national service programme effectively.
