Malmö FF’s midfield dynamo, Enoch Adu Kofi is stunned at his failure to make Black Stars’ 26-man provisional squad that will travel to Spain for the pre-tournament camping ahead of the 2015 AFCON.
In an exclusive interview with Allsports.com.gh, Adu Kofi expressed his disappointment in not making the cut for the Spain training camp.
According to him he has done a lot this season and the icing on the cake would have been to play for Ghana at the 2015 AFCON.
“I have been in great shape over the past three seasons. I believe I was in the right frame of mind and form to give my all to the Black Stars at the 2015 AFCON”, he said.
When asked if he was shocked at not making the cut, he sighed and said “of course I am shocked; I don’t know how to explain this, only God knows”, he noted.
“I guess I will have to do more to catch the eyes of the technical handlers and I know my time will definitely come”, he added.
The Malmö Midfielder poured his blessings on the chosen ones and wished them the best of luck at the upcoming AFCON tourney.
Coach Avram Grant pruned his initial 31-man provisional squad by dropping Enoch Adu Kofi, Albert Adomah, Stephen Adams, Mahatma Otoo, Alfred Duncan and Ebenezer Assifuah.
