This years’ Eid Ul Fitr was fan packed and super exciting as Joy Prime celebrated the Eid holiday with its viewers on Wednesday from 9 am to 1:30 pm.
The celebration, which was themed ‘Eid Special’ took viewers through some of Muslim’s favourite cuisines in the studio and then to the Black Star Square, where Muslims had gathered to pray.
The special show was anchored by Selly Galley, who hosts one of Joy Prime’s live shows ‘The Premieres’, and KMJ, who also hosts ‘Showbiz Now’ on the channel.
Joy Prime also added excitement to the special celebrations by showing Muslims movies ‘Awa Tarkwas’ and ‘Baabani’.
The Eid Special show also had some actors, actresses and comedians as guests who joined in on discussions concerning the celebration.
Some of these celebrities were Ken Fiati, Offeibea Ramatu, Peter Richie, Comedian Hogan, Vicky Zugah amongst others who shared their experiences with Muslims.
Offeibea Ramatu also enlightened viewers about Ramadan and other Muslim norms.
To spice up the show, the celebrities exhibited their funny sides through charades, and pick and act.
Offeibea Ramatu sung Muslim song and danced, comedian Hogan also got fans laughing to comedy stories about prayers between Muslims and Christian and so much more.
Joy Primes’ Hot Picks presenter Barikisu Meyu also surprised the show with some finger foods and drinks.
All these and more were aired on the Joy Prime platform as part of the Eid Special celebrations with Muslims fans.
