The Supreme Court today has ruled that the alleged breach of the rights of residents of Santrokofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi (SALL) was not caused by the then Hohoe MP-elect.
This comes after some residence dragged John Peter Amewu and the EC to the High Court contending that by not being allowed to vote in the December 2020 parliamentary elections, their rights have been breached.
However, the Court indicates that Mr Amewu just put himself up for elections.
Tonight on PM: Express, Evans Mensah and his panel of experts will discuss the SALL voting rights, the final verdict and the question of justice.
Guests for the discussion includes CDD Fellow in Public Law and Justice, Prof Stephen Kweku Asare; Founding President and CEO, IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Franklin Cudjoe.
Also is Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams and Private Legal Practitioner, Yaw Oppong.

Eligible Ghanaian voters within areas of the newly created district in the Oti Region; Santrokofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi (SALL), were unable to participate in the 2020 Parliamentary elections.
The people of SALL in the Guan District were only allowed to take part in the presidential election because a constituency had not yet been created for them, and hence do not have any representation in the 8th parliament.
