The suspect, Fuseini Ibrahim, was arrested on August 14, 2025, at Dumasua in the Sunyani West Municipality and has been placed in police custody.
A statement issued and signed by Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah, the Public Relations Officer of the Bono Regional Police Command, and made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, said three other accomplices, only identified as Musa, Baba and Malik Mustapha, were at large.
They allegedly stole the tricycles at Drobo in the Jaman South Municipality, it stated, adding that the suspects, together with the accomplice, were intercepted at the Dumasua checkpoint.
However, the other three suspects managed to escape.
