The Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) has blamed the power outage experienced on the evening of Saturday, May 7 on Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo).
In a press release, NEDCo stated that the power outage “resulted from a challenge recorded by GRIDCo.”
According to the electricity distribution Company, further details on the power outage will be provided by the Company when available.

Most parts of the Bono, Northern and Upper West Regions were without power on the evening of Saturday, May 7, 2022. Some parts of Accra also experienced power outages.
Reports stated that the light went off a few minutes before 8 pm.
NEDCo assured that “efforts are underway to restore power, adding that “the inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
