President John Mahama is expected to preach peace and unity as he addresses the country later today.
He will also use the occasion to thank Ghanaians for the show of support and love during the final funeral rites of his predecessor, the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
The address which will be broadcast live on radio and television stations across the country will be the first time President Mahama will be addressing the entire nation in such a manner upon assumption of office.
Spokesperson John Jinapor tells Joy News the president will also touch on other areas.
“He will also touch on areas of politics and where he thinks that our discourse and our political structure should be focused towards.”
