Ghanaian youth international Abeiku Quansah has made his debut for French side Nice, just seven days after signing a contract with the club.
The 18-year-old was a second half substitute on Tuesday night as his top flight club brushed aside second division side Creteil 3-0 in the French Cup.
He came on as a substitute in the 84th minute to replace striker Modeste, who had scored the second goal in the comprehensive win.
Quansah's debut is a boost for his career with Nice, who are keen on giving him the opportunities afforded Michael Essien at Bastia before he was snapped up by Lyon.
The offensive midfielder signed a three-year contract last week after moving from local side Liberty Professionals.
Quansah, a starting player in Ghana's Under-17 squad at the recent World Youth Championships, joined the club's youth academy last December.
