The Regent of the Awomefia of the Anlo Traditional Area, Togbui Sri III says he will work very hard in the coming year for the successful installation of a new Awomefia for the Anlo State.
Regent Sri who was speaking with Joy News after a tour of the traditional area said the citizens of Anlo under his leadership have worked hard to promote peace in the area and that was sufficient enough for the installation of a new Awomefia for the area.
The Anlo Traditional area has been without an overlord for some years now following a protracted chieftaincy dispute. But speaking to Joy News, Regent Togbui Sri said he’s worked hard enough to see to the installation of an Awomefia.
Togbui Sri has however come under attack by some Anlo citizens who accuse him of imposing himself on the people. But the youth of the area earlier in the week conferred on him the grand order of the Anlo State for what they described as his exemplary leadership and contribution to the Anlo state.
Togbui Sri said he would continue to work towards the development of the area and work to deepen reconciliation among the people.
