The ultimate winner of the 'MTN Heroes of Change', Dr. Kwame Abrokwaa Yankyera has asked Ghanaians to "stop criticizing and think about what you can do for the country".
Speaking to Joy News after receiving his award yesterday, Dr. Abrokwaa Yankyera urged Ghanaians to learn the virtue of volunteerism to enhance the development of the society.
According to him, talking on issues affecting the people is not the prescribed form of getting issues solved in the society.
Dr. Abrokwaa Yankyera therefore called for collective efforts at solving the challenges confronting the country for the betterment of the people.
"I believe that everybody has something to contribute. Sometimes, it becomes very challenging and you think of how you can do it. We started with nothing and once you start, people will recognized the good work you are doing and support you", he intimated.
For his prize, Dr. Abrokwaa Yankyera took away a-50-thousand Ghana Cedi as a support to his foundation.
MTN Heroes of Change celebrates people engaged in extraordinary activities in their communities.
Dr. Abrokwaa Yankyera has for the past 3 years helped persons, who need plastic surgery, but cannot afford the fee.
Through his Graft Foundation, many people in rural Ghana have benefited from his benevolence.
