The North East Regional Minister, Yidana Zakari, has warned against the illegal constructions of speed ramps on the township roads in Walewale, Nalerigu and Gambaga, which are currently being upgraded with an asphalt overlay.
The Minister said any person or group of persons who will be caught erecting speed ramps on the upgraded roads without authorising the urban roads department would be arrested and prosecuted.
Mr Zakari issued the caution in Gambaga where he paid a working visit to introduce the contractors of the project to the chief and people of the town.
