Chelsea captain John Terry hobbled out of an open training session on Monday and underwent treatment on an ankle injury but will be fine for Thursday's clash with Tottenham. Terry was helped from the field by two physios, but Chelsea released a statement saying: "John Terry will be fit to face Tottenham on Thursday despite limping out of Monday's open training session at Stamford Bridge. "The defender pinched his Achilles while blocking a shot on the pitch towards the end of the session, and departed for treatment as a precaution, but is expected to lead the side out as normal at White Hart Lane on Thursday night." The England skipper suffered a minor knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Wigan at the weekend, but manager Andre Villas-Boas confirmed after the game that he would be fit to face high-flying Spurs. "John Terry took a painful knock, but he seems okay now. Even if he is limping I think he will be fine for the next game," Villas-Boas told reporters. "Ramires should be fine as well. He's progressing and will be able to play, and maybe David Luiz too."
