Caretaker coach of the Black Satellites Francis Oti Akenten says the black satellites training tour to Italy was successful.
The Ghana football association technical director believes they now have a team for the African youth championship qualifiers and the world youth cup campaign
“We now have a team that will form the nucleus of the under 20 to favourably compete in the African Youth Championship and the World Youth Championship qualifiers”. Oti told JOY Sports.
According to him, the purpose of embarking on the training tour to Italy was achieved.
Eighteen local players together with six internationals embarked on the training tour to Italy. The team unfortunately lost to Italy’s under 20 by 2-0 and Seria A side Parma FC 1-0.
