Ghanaians have flocked to social media to pay their respects to the popular food vendor, Auntie Muni.
The 72-year-old waakye seller, known for her renowned eatery 'Auntie Muni Waakye,' has fed many in Ghana's capital.
The announcement of her death on Wednesday morning sent shockwaves across social media.
Auntie Imoro Muniratu, popularly known as Auntie Muni, succumbed to a brief illness at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra.
Alhassan Abdul Arafat, Auntie Muni's son, disclosed this during an interview.
Tributes have since poured in from friends, family, and sympathizers, with many sharing heartfelt messages.
