Two Hyundai H100 vehicles sustained significant damage in a fire that broke out late Tuesday evening at Apark Zongo, near Sir Teeray’s Complex in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.
According to a Facebook post shared by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the incident, which occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. on July 29, prompted a swift response from the Koforidua Municipal Fire Station.

Firefighters, under the leadership of STNO II Dzaka, arrived promptly and managed to bring the blaze under control by 10:27 p.m. It was fully extinguished by 10:39 p.m.
The vehicles, bearing registration numbers GR 4965-17 and GX 5215-14, suffered considerable damage to their front compartments.

The GNFS has reiterated its commitment to protecting lives and property and continues to urge vehicle owners to conduct regular maintenance to help prevent such occurrences.
