The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has held its 17th congregation ceremony on September 26, 2025, at Madina in Accra.
A total of 1,863 students graduated in the first session, with 1,640 from the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies and 223 from the UPSA Law School.
Delivering his address, Vice Chancellor of UPSA, Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, praised the graduands for their resilience and innovation, acknowledging the challenges they faced during their academic journey, including adapting to online learning and meeting tight deadlines.
The ceremony was part of the university's programme to confer degrees and diplomas on students who completed their programs in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Some of the graduates who excelled in their various courses were presented with prizes.
