A mountain of rubbish which sits behind the General Post Office in Accra has been spotted by a concerned citizen.
In a video, Nana Osae Addo-Dankwa, an Investment Banker, lamented the huge pile of garbage that has been left on the road in the centre of the capital.
"What are we doing about sanitation? The rains have started. This could easily generate into an outbreak [like] cholera. Look at this!" he said in the recording.
He called on the Sanitation Ministry to reassess their plans for the capital to ensure that the streets of Accra are clean in line with President Akufo-Addo's dream of making Accra the cleanest city in Africa.
