The MTN FA Cup committee has confirmed to JOY Sports that, the Wassaman United and Tema Youth quarter final replay match which was scheduled to come off this Wednesday has been postponed to Sunday.
Both teams after failing to kick off their June 10 encounter at the Tarkwa T and A Park due to security concerns were ordered by the GFA's Disciplinary Committee last week Thursday to play the match again on Wednesday.
According to Kurt Okraku who is a member of the FA Cup Committee, the venue, which is the Tarkwa T&A Park remains unchanged.
“We considered the pleas of the two teams and we thought it wise to postpone the match to Sunday”.
The winner will face New Edubiase United in the semi-final to be played in Accra on July 22.
