A horrific piece of violence towards an official occurred in the Bosnian second division last week, as Branitelj goalkeeper Romeo Mitrovic inexplicably swung for, and hit, a referee in the head after receiving a yellow card.
The 35-year-old ‘keeper can now expect a lengthy ban after losing the plot.
Watch the video below to see the incident play out, as both sets of players look on in bemusement as Mitrovic went after the referee.
