Yendi Senior High School have secured their qualification to the 2017 CIMG TV Programme of the Year, the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The school, based in the capital of the Dagbon state in the Northern region, scored 18 points to quench the campaign of both Zabzugu Senior High and Saboba Senior High.
Having finished Round one with six points, behind both competitors, one would have written them off, but they carried the day in style.
Zabzugu SHS did threaten to overturn the victory but fell three points short at the end of the fourth round.
Saboba SHS only collected five points in the game having lost points for wrong answers.
One can only be happy for the Yendi-based school as they have also taken a bite from the peace in the town.
