The Assistant Coach of Zamalek Ismail Youseff Awadallah has indicated that, his side will bounce back after their 3-2 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in their CAF Champions league opener at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday.
Zamalek striker Abdoulaye Cissé put the former champions in front after 21 minutes but Clottey drew his side level eight minutes later. Cissé made it two in the 34th minute as Zamalek held onto their lead into the break. But three goals from Chelsea striker Emmanuel clottey won the Berekum based side all the points
“We still have some more matches to play so i believe we can still make it despite losing today to Chelsea”. Said assistant coach Awadallah
“We have a tough game against Al Ahly and we must do all that we can to win that game”.
“I’m optimistic we can win the championship if we are able to win our next game”.
