A 24-year-old teacher at Kasoa in the Central Region, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his pupil. The teacher is alleged to have dragged the class six girl to an uncompleted building near the school after school hours, where he had sex with the her.
Kasoa Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) Commander, DSP Florence Anaman told Joy News the teacher also gave the girl a concoction in a bottle and a white towel which he [teacher] told the girl was from a “pastor”.
According to DSP Anaman, the teacher told the victim to use the water every night and use the towel to clean her face – a trick to prevent the pupil from telling anyone about their affair.
The suspect has admitted to having intercourse with the pupil. According to the police, the suspect claimed he did not have vaginal intercourse with the pupil but anal intercourse.
The suspect is being prepared for court on the charge of defilement.
