Some workers at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital are threatening to stage a demonstration against the management over their unpaid salary arrears.
The workers, numbering about 800 say they’ve been paid only six months of the two years’ salary arrears due them.
They are especially angry because they claim the hospital authorities are denying they owe them any arrears.
The angry workers say the hospital had previously made several promises to pay them but broke those promises.
They say they will take drastic action by the end of the month, if they don’t get their arrears.
The Management of the hospital has declined comments on the matter.
