Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Opambour is calling for a spiritual contest between Ghanaian pastors and their Nigerian counterparts to determine the most powerful.
The Founder of the Kumasi based Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center is unhappy about what he says is special treatment and respect Ghanaians give to foreign pastors.
He threw the challenge on Metro TV.
Reverend Adarkwa Yiadom, who also calls himself, Prophet One, fumed that Ghanaians don’t regard pastors in the country because perceive pastors who come from other countries as more powerful.
Ghanaians have relegated pastors here to the background as if the hand of God is not even upon them, he said.
According to him, Ghanaians don’t place value on them because they don’t charge in dollars.
He pointed out that people draw water from a well in his church and for close to eleven years, nobody has died.
There has never been a stampede here to cause death because it is water of life and not water of death, he touted.
This was in obvious reference to last week’s incident at Prophet T.B. Joshua’s church in Ghana where four people died in a stampede trying to access supposed free holy water.
Rev. Adarkwa Yiadom asserted that God would reveal to a true man of God when something is about to happen in his church, and would not allow people to die for the man of God to be disgraced.
He asserted that he is not afraid of a challenge between pastors from Ghana and Nigeria to find out the most powerful, adding that he is ready to represent Ghana in this contest.
