Konongo Odumase Senior High School has qualified for the 2019 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz with a margin three points.
The Ashanti region school suffered the most painful elimination in the 2018 edition of the Primetime TV show.
After scoring an impressive and rare 55 points, they still had to pack bag and baggage and kiss the competition goodbye because their opponents, West African Senior High (WASS) had scored more. WASS went ahead to be the first runner up.

Konongo Odumase SHS has once again earned a chance to right their wrongs.
They shrugged off competition from Ejisu SHTS who scored 21 points, Dompoase SHS who scored 17 points and Parkoso SHS who fell behind with nine points.
In another contest, Osei Kyeretwie SHS won with 32 points, securing their qualification.
Juaben SHS will loathe themselves after leading the entire contest only to handover victory in the final ‘lap’ finishing a point behind the ‘usurpers.’
St. Jerome SHS finished with 18 points and Tawheed SHS scored only 15 points but did better than T.I Amass Girls' SHS who scored 13.
In the third contest, Anglican Senior High secured qualification with 32 points.
They would have a chance to redeem themselves after a point deficit to saw them lose to Accra giants, St. Thomas Aquinas SHS who have won the competition once.
