Flags are generally used as symbols, signalling devices or for decoration. Associations and countries have various reasons for settling on one type of flag or another. A regular scene at Ghana's coasts is canoes having various flags, high up.
JoyNews’ Joseph Ackah-Blay spent some time at the Tema Fishing Harbour where an argument ensued among fishermen on why they sail with distinct flags.
