Mr George Tachie-Menson, Chairman of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs Football Club has resigned his position with immediate effect.
The Chairman in a statement at Cape Coast on Sunday, said that he could not remain in the Club with Nana Brew Butler doubling as the sole shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr Tachie-Menson accused Nana Brew Butler for not allowing more directors to be appointed to contribute financially towards the upkeep of the Club.
He pointed out that even though a new league season would start in February, this year, the Club has no funds to pay the arrears of the allowances of the players.
Mr Tachie-Menson said that the Club could not even collect the cards of prospective players for registration.
He thanked the Club’s Congress, which elected him in September last year to serve as Chairman of the Club and wished the Club well.
