AirtelTigo has announced a strategic alliance with mobile phone brands ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ and ‘Itel’ to offer free voice and data once they purchase of any device from the three mobile brands.
The move expands AirtelTigo’s partnerships with leading mobile phone brands to create an ‘open ecosystem’ of affordable smartphones and also help increase smartphone adoption in the country.
With the purchase of any ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ or ‘Itel’ smartphone from AirtelTigo shops or ‘TECNO’, ‘Infinix’ or ‘Itel’ outlets nationwide, new and existing customers of AirtelTigo will get a free SIM card, minutes to call AirtelTigo numbers and data to browse the internet.
The free data and voice minutes for customers will vary based on the price of the mobile device. Customers will have to dial a shortcode to activate the offer for the first month.

On their part, Transsion, manufacturers of TECNO, Infinix and Itel mobile phones are confident that their partnership with AirtelTigo will bring greater value to its customers.
