Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed profound gratitude to his liaison officers across all 16 regions of Ghana for their exceptional performance during and after the party’s presidential primary.
The engagement, which brought together liaisons from across the country, created an opportunity for Dr Bawumia to personally commend them for their dedication and hard work.
He praised the liaison officers for their tireless efforts in mobilising support for his candidature and ensuring a strong showing in the primary.
Dr Bawumia acknowledged the critical role they played in the party’s success and reaffirmed his commitment to working with them towards securing victory in the 2028 elections.
Nana John Gyamfi, the Oti Regional Liaison Campaign Coordinator for Dr Bawumia, thanked God for the victory and commended his colleagues in other regions for their dedication throughout the campaign, which contributed to Dr Bawumia’s election as flagbearer.
He also expressed appreciation to delegates and supporters of the NPP in the Oti Region for their confidence in Dr Bawumia, which led to an overwhelming endorsement during the primary. “We are proud of the results, and we are committed to working harder for the party,” he said.
The meeting underscored the party’s focus on grassroots mobilisation and the pivotal role of liaison officers in advancing the NPP’s agenda.
Dr Bawumia’s gesture of appreciation is seen as a morale booster and a demonstration of his commitment to deeper collaboration with the liaisons.
