Algerian referee, Benouza Mohamed will be at the peak of events at the Ohene Djan stadium when the Black Stars of Ghana take on their Nigerian counterparts in what football pundits describe as the battle of the titans.
Sunday’s epic encounter between Ghana's Black Stars and Nigeria's Super Eagles will be the first clash at the quarterfinal stage of the 26th MTN African Cup of Nations.
The Algerian referee will be assisted by his compatriot, Djezzar Brahim as assistant referee one, with Molefe Enock of South Africa as assistant referee two.
According to the Confederation of Africa Football's website the Match Commissioner would be Walter Nyamilaudu Manda of Malawi.
Haimoudi Djamel also of Algeria would be in the middle when Cote d'Ivoire clash with Guinea at the Sekondi stadium in the other quarterfinal match.
Celestin Ntagungira of Rwanda is the assistant referee one and Achick Redoune of Morocco is assistant referee two.
Mario Semede Mendes of Cape Verde Island is the Match Commissioner.
