Faisal opened the scores as early as the fifth minute through Samad Oppong before Eric Opoku added to the tally in the 20th minute. At the Berekum Golden City Park, homesters Arsenals pipped visiting Gamba All Blacks by a lone goal courtesy a 69th minute strike by substitute Seidu Abdulai.
