Ryan Ansah, one of three children of the late ace fashion designer, Kofi Ansah's has paid glowing tribute to his father describing him as true lion.
Kofi Ansah, who was one of Ghana's few designers to have gained international recognition died Saturday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
He is reported to have died from cardiac arrest.
Ryan Ansah said in a short statement sent to Myjoyonline.com that Kofi Ansah was the most hardworking, passionate man he has ever known.
"In a world of beta males, my father Kofi was the epitome of an Alpha - a true lion. The most hardworking, passionate man I have ever known. His strength, intelligence, ambition and sense of responsibility are all attributes I will continue to aspire to," he said.
According to him, Kofi Ansah's "passing has left a void not only in the hearts of my siblings and I, but also in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews whose lives were impacted so greatly by his compassion, wisdom and guidance. Kofi has left some mighty big shoes to fill...rest assured Joey, Tanoa and I will give it our all. I love you, Dad x."
