Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks played a determined game to beat Oguaa United 4-1 in their outstanding Division Two league match played at Cape Coast Robert Mensah stadium on Friday.
In a one-sided match which was handled by FIFA referee Joseph Macarthy, it was Coconut Sharks who took absolute control of the match to end the first half 3-0 in their favour.
Back from the recess, Coconut Sharks continued to pile pressure on Oguaa United and it came as no surprise when in the 72nd minute, centre half Ernest Addo increased his side’s goal tally to four.
Oguaa United came into the picture in the dying minutes of the game and managed to get a consolation goal in the 85th minute through Kofi Aggrey.
Aggrey after collecting a pass outwitted two defenders in a row before placing the ball at the blind side of the Sharks keeper.
