Black Stars captain John Mensah limped off during Olympique Lyonnais' first pre-season training session on Monday due to a calf injury.
The 25-year-old central defender joined the Ligue 1 champions last week in an 8.5 million euros deal and will know the extent of his injury yesterday.
Mensah's injury is the latest to visit Lyon's treatment room after Fred (knee) and Kader Keita (arm) who are yet to recuperate.
Fabio Santos, who has a broken jaw will be operated on on Thursday.
It is however unclear if the Ghana international will recover early before Lyon wrap up their training schedule at Divonne-les-Bains on Friday.
He is expected to make a quick recovery as Lyon look set to a huge impact in this season's UEFA Champions League.
