The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to name Serbian Radevic Milovan as new Black Stars coach to end three months long search for successor to Claude Le Roy.
The Serbian is expected to be the highest ever paid coach of the Black Stars with an estimated amount of $45,000.
Bits of information picked up by Ernest Koranteng of Joy FM from his sources at the GFA claim the coach will arrive in the country from his home base on Friday to take up his job.
His first assignment will be to lead the Stars against Tanzania in an International friendly in August, before the crucial nations and world cup qualifier against Libya in September.
The 54 year old Radevic Milovan is the second Serbian to be appointed in four years.
The first was Ratomir Dujkovic who led the Black Stars to its first ever world in 2006 with a second round exit.
Milovan’s major responsibility will be to qualify the Black Stars to its second world cup in South Africa in 2010.
