The management of the Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has assured its supporters, stakeholders and well wishers as well as the general public of presenting a formidable team for the upcoming soccer season.
Vincent Sowah Odotei, Acting Chief Executive Officer, in a press release copied to GNA Sports said the club embarked on an efficient and effective recruitment drive intended to propel its fortune to a ‘positive glory’.
“The recruitment drive is based on three considerations comprising efficiency, effectiveness and financial prudence.
“These three key considerations are based on a careful balance of needs, availability of resources, future club positioning and expectations of supporters.”
Odotei explained that the three considerations was split into three phases made up of Justifiers, Assessment of existing players and other potential targets and Recruitment of key and targeted seasoned and capable Premier League players.
“We wish to assure all that the first two phases has been successfully executed whilst about 80 percent of the third component has been accomplished.”
The Acting CEO added that a careful, detailed and tactical balance has been struck on all the considerations while assuring that quality value for money premier division football talents will be brought into the team to beef up its chances and goals.
