GHANA's international Manuel "junior" Agogo has admitted that he had been struggling with some injury problems.
The striker's recent unimpressive performance for his Egyptian club Zamalek and his country has attracted some criticism.
Agogo's poor form was blamed for the Black Stars' inability to score in their World Cup qualifier aganist Libya two weeks ago.
But he looks to have rediscovered his touch when scoring for Zamalek in their 2-2 draw with Cairo arch rivals Al Ahly in the African Champions League on Sunday night.
The strong striker admits he had struggled but has now settled well in Egypt and ready to deliver the goods.
"I was playing while I am injured and not 100% fit," Agogo told MTN Footbal1.
"This affected my game but now I am very good physically and am feeling well.
"The reason I did not score many goals is that I also did not play many matches.
"I still need some time to gain harmony with my teammates."
Agogo, who spent most of his career with English clubs, explained that he is also adopting the Egyptian culture. "It is a very different world. I needed sometime to settle but I feel more oriented to the Egyptian style onlife already."
The Ghanaian also revealed that he decided to join Zamalek because they are a club with a capacity to win trophies. "I hope to guide Zamalek to win the MTN champions League title this year."
