Ghana has been selected to host the next edition of the Veterans African Handball Tournament next year.
The tournament, scheduled for April next year will be held in the Central Region with Togo, Benin and Nigeria expected to participate.
Ghana emerged winners in both the male and female categories in the just ended sixth edition of the tournament in Togo.
In a related development, Fire Service and the Ghana Navy will lock horns in the finals of the Male’s category of the Deyoungsters Knockout Championship at the Prisons Sports Complex, Cantonments, Accra on Saturday, October 25, 2008.
In the Female category, Prisons Service will clash against their Police counterparts at the same venue.
